Notice on the Management of Chinese Government Scholarship Students in the 2020/2021 Academic YearDate: 2020-10-04
Freshman registration, scholarship and living expenses provision:
1.Freshmen are students who were admitted in 2020.
2.The deadline is October 15th, 2020 for Freshman registration.
3.Those who registered and took part in actual studying in China:
-After scholarship review, the school will help them to complete the registration, living expenses would be provided.
4.Students outside China who cannot go to school but can study online:
-The school will help them to complete the registration, but their scholarship qualifications can only be obtained after they actually arrive at the school and pass the review, and start to pay living expenses. During the online studies, the living expenses will not be paid and will not be repaid after arriving at the school. The scholarship eligibility will be retained until August 31, 2021. If the student does not arrive at the school and register before the deadline, the scholarship eligibility will be cancelled.
5.Students outside China who cannot go to school or study online:
-Student registration is not allowed. Students can submit an application (The deadline is October 15th, 2020 for application) to retain the scholarship eligibility until August 31, 2021. If they still cannot register at the school before the deadline, the scholarship eligibility will be cancelled.
Registration of student status and providing living expenses for current students:
1.Students studying in China:
-The school handles the registration of student status information and obtains living expenses after passing the monthly attendance.
2.Students outside China:
-If student can participate in online teaching in accordance with the school’s requirements, ensure normal academic progress, pass the academic assessment, and reimburse living expenses after you return to school. Those who fail the academic assessment will retain their scholarship after returning to school and registering, and the relevant living expenses will not be reimbursed.
-If you cannot participate in online teaching as required by the school, you should apply for a suspension of schooling.
If you want to change majors, teaching language, add or cancel Chinese studying, please apply within two months after registering, late applications will not be accepted.
